Meet Tamera
Founder & Certified Photo Manager
Tamera is a certified professional photo manager who specializes in working with empty nesters and anyone who wants to preserve their media memories. Tamera and her team unlock family stories and give peace of mind, knowing their photos and home movies are safe and easily accessible.
Tamera currently resides in Fargo, ND, graduating from Minnesota State University-Moorhead in 1994 with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree. She worked in various capacities as a technical illustrator, media assistant, and most importantly mother of her two children.
Her journey into preservation work began with her grandmother’s collection of photos. Tamera scanned them and handed out copies to her cousins, who loved seeing the pictures — some for the very first time. Realizing everyone deserved that same gift, and looking for a way to work from home, she turned that first project into a business. In 2009 she started TK Media Design, with the mission to help other families capture, preserve, and share their memories.

Media Transfer & Restoration Expert
Jim is an integral part of TK Media Design, working alongside his wife, Tamera, to help families preserve, organize, and enjoy their most meaningful memories. Together, Jim and Tamera share a passion for helping people protect the photographs, home movies, and other media that tell the stories of their lives.
Jim brings a practical, supportive approach to the work and enjoys helping make the process of preserving family memories simple and accessible. As Tamera’s husband and father of their two sons, he understands firsthand how important family memories are and the peace of mind that comes from knowing those memories are safe, organized, and easy to share.
Based in Fargo, North Dakota, Jim is proud to be part of the mission behind TK Media Design: helping families capture, preserve, and share their stories for generations to come.
